Science club update

Before February half term USC science club students carried out an A Level practical – creating a simple electrochemical cell, allowing electrons to flow from one solution to another, driven by redox reactions based on metal solutions with different reactivity – sounds like high level science, but our USC students weren’t happy with the simple cell, they wanted to investigate further so they then set up parallel and series circuits using the solutions and comparing the potential difference, very impressive. If you have something science related that you’d like to investigate, come along on Wednesday lunchtimes to room 6 at the USC and join in.
